Open Data Factory Symposium

Event: Open Collaboration Data Factory Symposium
Date: May 31 – June 2, 2015
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

The first event hosted under the auspices of the Open Collaboration Data Factory (OCDF), this symposium will bring together scholars from North America and Europe to plan and prototype solutions to problems in the study of open online communities. Attendees will break into three sub-groups based on past events: (1) Data and Ontologies, (2) Ethics and Privacy, and (3) Infrastructure and Technology. Hosted at Copenhagen Business School, this event will mark the beginning of OCDF operations and will be followed by future symposia, hackathons, and data createathons, creating opportunities for interdisciplinary scholars to make breakthroughs by fostering increased instrumentation in the social sciences, data mining, and computer sciences. For questions, please contact Dr. Sean Goggins, University of Missouri or Dr. Susan Winter, University of Maryland.

For Attendees: Information about the event will be provided below as it becomes available:

•  Agenda saved as PDF for download
•  Accommodations include a block of rooms at the Radisson Blu Falconer Hotel so please visit the hotel site for directions
•  Venue addresses are also saved in a stand-alone file
•  Symposium scenarios are available for each of the working groups
•  The symposium will be held at Copenhagen Business School, and we recommend traveling from Copenhagen Airport to the business school or hotel by Metro

  1. Hi my name is Emily and I just wanted to drop you a quick message here instead of calling you. I discovered your Open Data Factory Symposium | Open Data Factories website and noticed you could have a lot more hits. I have found that the key to running a popular website is making sure the visitors you are getting are interested in your website topic. There is a company that you can get keyword targeted traffic from and they let you try their service for free for 7 days. I managed to get over 300 targeted visitors to day to my website.
